The JEE MAIN 2023 Admit card

The JEE MAIN 2023 admit cards will be released in the third week of January 2023. JEE Mains 2023 session 1 dates are- 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 January 2023. NTA JEE Mains Admit Card can be checked by candidates on the official site of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main Admit Card 2023 Session 1: NTA will release JEE Main 2023 Admit Card session 1 in the 3rd week of January. JEE admit card 2023 might contain some errors or discrepancies. These could be related to the candidates’ details or information related to test centres. To prevent any problem on the exam day due error in the admit card, students first should check the following details carefully:

In case candidates forget their password, they can follow the steps below:

  • Click on the “Forgot Password” link
  • Answer the security question
  • A verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number
  • A password reset link will be sent to the registered email ID
  • Click on the reset password link and create a new password
  • Remember the new password
  • Login to the admit card link by using the new password
  • Download the JEE Main admit card

JEE Main Admit Card 2023- Items to Carry at Exam Centre

Besides JEE Main 2023 admit card, students need to carry the following items to the exam centre:

  • Self-Declaration Undertaking: Candidates will have to carry a printed copy of the self-declaration undertaking, which is a part of admit card downloaded from NTA’s website
  • Sanitiser: Candidates have to carry a 50 ml sanitiser bottle
  • Ball Point Pen: This time candidates have to carry a ballpoint pen to the exam hall
  • Photograph: Candidates are also requested to carry one passport-size photograph to the test centre. This should be the same as uploaded while filling the online application form. The photograph needs to be pasted on a specific space in the attendance sheet at the examination hall
  • Transparent Water Bottle: Candidates have to carry one transparent water bottle
  • Masks & Gloves: Candidates have to wear masks and gloves while in the examination centre

Note: For BArch paper, candidates must bring their own geometry set, colour pencils, erasers and pencils. No watercolours are required

Special provision for diabetic students

The authority allows eatables and drinks including water bottles inside the exam centre for diabetic patients. The concessions are given to diabetic candidates keeping their health conditions in mind. Diabetic students must carry the following things inside the examination hall:

  • Fruits
  • Sugar tablets
  • Transparent water bottle

Note: Candidates will not be allowed to carry packaged foods such as chips/chocolate/sandwiches etc.

Exam day instructions mentioned in JEE Main Admit Card 2023

  • JEE Main aspirants will not be allowed to carry any item other than those mentioned on the admit card.
  • Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination room
  • Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the Invigilator, before leaving the examination hall
  • Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles to the examination hall/room. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwiches etc.
  • Candidates will have to sit on the seat allocated to them
  • Candidates will be allowed to appear at the allotted venue of the test only
  • Wearing a watch inside the exam hall is not allowed
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre once the exam starts
  • Candidates without an admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam
  • Leaving exam hall before closure/end of the exam is not permitted
  • Request for change in JEE Main 2022 exam centres will not be entertained

Items prohibited inside JEE Main 2023 examination centre

  • Pencil/Geometry Box or any other stationery
  • Handbag
  • Purse
  • Any kind of paper or printed material
  • Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
  • Electronic items and instruments such as Mobile Phone, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator
  • Instruments such as DocuPen, Slide Ruler, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder
  • Any type of watch including electronic watches with a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room

JEE Main 2023 Admit Card: Important points to remember

In addition to the above-mentioned points, students must also make a note of the following:

  • The National Testing Agency, in no case, will issue duplicate JEE Main admit cards at test centres
  • Candidates are requested to keep the admit card safe and not mutilate it or change any entry made therein
  • The admit cards are to be preserved in good condition for all future reference
  • The admit card will not be issued to aspirants whose applications are incomplete.
